Q: What kind of woodworking does Bamberg Woodsmiths offer?

A: We build the following custom pieces and more:

Q: What kind of stain/paint colors do you offer?

A: We can match any stain or paint colors from your sample or we will create a custom color to contrast or enhance the mood of any room in your home or business. We also use a lot of hand-rubbed oils and chemicals such as Potassium Dichromate and Metalized Acid Dyes to achieve the perfect effect.

Q: Does your lifetime warranty really mean for an entire lifetime?

A: Yes! Our lifetime warranty doesn't just meant the serviceable life of the product. Our Solid wood Cabinetry and Furniture is desinged and constructed to last well beyond our lifetime, which is why we consider our work to be Heirloom quality.

Q: Does Bamberg Woodsmiths have a design center?

A: No, our design center is your home. We are a custom cabinet and furniture design and build firm. We use imagination and creativity to come up with a vision that will fit in with the rest of your decor. However, to develop new relationships in the Houston area, a new storefront in Old-Town Spring is coming soon.

Q: Do you require a deposit to be commissioned?

A: Yes. Depending on the project, I usually require 25% to 50% upfront to be placed on our schedule and for cost of materials. For major projects, payments are established to coincide with scheduled completion times. We do offer financing to fit any budget.

Q: What is your typical turn-around time for commissoned projects?

A: It depends and many factors such as size and complexity of the project and our current workload. Most of our work is booked at least one month in advance, sometimes up to 6 months. I handle our schedule very carefully, if we are commissioned on a major project requiring more time, I will be very upfront and honest about the timeline in which we can have your project completed.

Q:. Do you offer CAD drawings for a customer to see before building.

A: Yes and No. For major projects like a kitchen remodel we certainly will have drawings completed in order for the client to get a visual idea of what their kitchen will be transformed into. For smaller furniture pieces, we will provide drawings if a customer specifically asks for it, but we usually get ideas and wishes from the customer then go build. Sometimes the best creativity comes from the actual building process. An idea may pop up in the middle of building on how to accentuate a certain portion of the project. I may come accross a certain piece of wood that catches my eye and I will use it to add prominence in your project.
